I’ve joined the great Sinister Grin Press as an editor, which will allow me to extract cosmic terror from the world and put it where it belongs—in writers.
SGP was founded by author Shane McKenzie and producer/filmmaker Travis Tarpley, and has published legendary authors Ramsey Campbell, Jack Ketchum, Thomas Tessier, Wrath James White, and many others.
After many (thank you!) requests, a digital edition of my short-story collection—including the definitive text of my 2004 novel The Untold—Traces of Oblivion is now available here.
My review of Han Kang’s Man Booker International Prize-winning novel The Vegetarian can be found here.
June 1st will see the publication of Year’s Best Hardcore Horror: Volume 2, and includes my short story “Out Hunting for Teeth.” For anyone who ever accused me of being overly subtle, well, suck on this one. . . .
Last, covers of a handful (not all) of books I reviewed as a contributing editor for New York City’s venerable (in print since 1876!) Library Journal magazine. Apparently I’ve become the Sociology/Political Science “expert”—and couldn’t be happier about that.
Meanwhile, work continues on my next novel, Metanoia.
And that about covers it. Now go do something valuable to society, like—never mind.
